How do I enter?
You can start by visiting www.twitter.com/mgmgrand and electing to follow us, if you aren't already. If you do not have a Twitter account, sign up for a free at www.twitter.com and follow the instructions. Once you're logged on and following us, just post a tweet with your confession and incorporate the hashtag #mgmsin.
How long is the giveaway going on?
We'll be giving away 30 room nights in 30 days. The Promotional Period begins at 12:01am Eastern Time on October 28, 2009 and ends 11:59pm Eastern Time November 26, 2009.
What are you giving away?
MGM Grand will be giving away one (1) room night stay at MGM Grand Las Vegas each day for thirty (30) days.
How many times can I enter?
That depends on how many sins you've committed. Kidding! You can enter as many times as you want. Each tweet confession with the hashtag #mgmsin counts as an entry, so the more you confess, the better your chances of winning. One (1) entry will be chosen at random each day and announced on twitter.com/mgmgrand and mgmgrandsins.com over the thirty (30) day period.
If I include @mgmgrand in my tweet, is that considered an entry?
No. You can feel free to include @mgmgrand as well, but you must also have the #mgmsin hashtag included somewhere in your tweet in order to officially be considered an entry.
Do I have to mention anything specific in my tweet? Do I have to retweet anything? Would it help if I tweet what the person who won the day before tweeted?
No, no, and no. In order to enter, all you need is to include #mgmsin. We do, however, encourage everyone to be as creative as possible in their confessions.
Do I need to re-enter the giveaway every day, or is one tweet enough to keep me in the running for the whole month?
Since a new winner is chosen every day, you will want to come back and tweet a new confession (or several) each day for the thirty (30) day Promotional Period to increase your chance of winning.
Will entering multiple times help my chances of winning?
Didn't we go over this already? Yes! The more confessions you tweet, the greater your chance of winning. Tweet a new confession each day during the thirty (30) day Promotional Period to increase your chances of winning.
If I have a protected Twitter account, can I still enter the giveaway?
If you have a protected account, we will not be able to see your tweet in the public Twitter timeline. As we are not able to easily follow everyone back, you can choose to make your account unprotected if you would like to be eligible for the giveaway.
What time do you choose your winners each day?
The winner for each day of the promotional period is drawn randomly and contacted the following day.
Where are you announcing the winners each day?
We will announce the winner in a tweet from our official @mgmgrand twitter account and post the winner on our official Winners page at: http://www.mgmgrandsins.com the following day.
Do I have to follow @mgmgrand in order to win?
Yes. That way you will know right away if you are the lucky winner for that day!
Are you giving away the room night for entries on Saturdays & Sundays too?
Oh yeah!
Do I have to be a U.S. resident in order to enter?
Yes.
How old do I have to be to enter the giveaway?
At least twenty-one (21) years old at the time of entry.
